Shorebirds Day at the Office

On Saturday, May 22, 2004, Accurate Optical hosted a Delmarva Shorebirds Day at the Salisbury office. As the official team eye doctors of the minor league Orioles affiliate, Accurate Optical celebrated the beginning of the season with a bang. Delmarva Shorebirds players, the Shorebirds Gametime Round-up Crew and even Sherman the Shorebird were on hand to have fun with patients and fans alike. Sherman was caught donning an oversize pair of Accurate Optical sunglasses while entertaining an office full of children. OC104 set up a live remote encouraging Shorebirds fans to stop in the office for autographs and pictures with the players and Sherman.
The Shorebirds players and General Manager, Stephen Yaros, were examined by Dr. Steven Zeidman, Accurate Optical principal. According to Stephen Yaros, "the best part was being provided with digital photos of my retina after my exam." During the team's examinations, Dr. Zeidman checked for players that would make good Paragon CRTﾮ candidates for vision correction. He also recommended extended wear contact lenses for the players needing correction and proper sunwear was the main topic of conversation.
